Credit Counseling

Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) is a local, not-for-profit credit counseling agency that has helped thousands regain control of their debt and rebuild their credit for more than 30 years. Our certified credit and housing counselors will provide you with the support, knowledge and tools needed to make informed financial decisions. We offer personalized, confidential, financial counseling, debt management programs, housing counseling and bankruptcy counseling* to meet your needs.  Most of our general counseling services are free (a few specific services require a fee). CCCS is funded by voluntary contributions from creditors, donations, grants and other community-based resources.  It is our mission to provide quality credit counseling and financial education enabling you to make wise financial choices for your life.

CCCS is approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide housing counseling.

The Executive Office of the United States Trustee has approved CCCS to provide bankruptcy counseling and pre-discharge financial education.*

Member- National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC).

Accredited through the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services (COA).
