Affiliations

CCCS is approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide housing counseling.  The Executive Office of the United State Trustee has approved CCCS to provide bankruptcy pre-filing counseling and pre-discharge financial education in the northern and southern judicial districts of Ohio.*

CCCS is a member of the Better Business Bureau and the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC).  We are accredited through the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services (COA).

While we do offer certain specific services that require a fee, most of our general counseling services are free.  CCCS is funded by voluntary contributions from creditors, donations, grants and other community-based resources.
